Blown by adverse winds the small fleet of Odysseus' ships finally
arrive at a strange island spread with crumbling megalithic
structures of an undetermined age. As it turns out this is Cyclopea,
the island of the Cyclops, a half human, half divine race that the
«gods» employ as guardians to their weapons of mass destruction
depot.
As Odysseus and his companions soon find out these Cyclops are of
enormous stature and brutish disposition. Trapped inside the huge
artificial cave of Polyphemus and his insatiable wife Aetherope, the
Crafty One has to work out a plan to escape a fate worse than death,
but in the process he accidentally creates an incredible havoc and
sends the «gods» running.
Once again this story, as told by Odysseus himself, shares very
little in common with the same episode as taught in our schools and
universities --the Homeric version that is.
